Butter is a genuine and healthy product with a “personal” taste!
We produce a completely natural, creamy white butter made from our own fresh cream with no added colors or preservatives: it is not porous and it doesn’t have streaks or water.
It is a product from our own tradition: we make it the way it has always been made in a completely artisan way.
It has excellent consistency and spreadability!
It has a very mild flavor because it is made from the cream from the skimmed milk we use to produce Parmigiano Reggiano.
To make the Parmigiano Reggiano, we let the milk from the evening milking sit in tubs all night: in the morning we remove the fat or cream that has risen to the surface.
Once the cream and heavy cream have been removed, we move onto the whisking or churning, named after the tools that were used in the past: at the end of this process you obtain a solid piece which is the butter, and a liquid part that is called buttermilk.
When the churning is complete, the butter obtained is wrapped in packs and is ready to be sold in our shops.
Butter: Its nutritional values
Butter is a food high in fat. It contains about 82% of it and for this reason it is often banished from our tables, but not always with good reason: for those who follow a healthy and balanced diet, there is no reason to exclude it from their diet.
These are some of the main qualities of this olden food that keeps many milk properties:
- The fats contained in butter are easily digestible and assimilated because they melt at 30°C: that’s why those who need “instant energy” such as athletes, should consider butter in their diet.
- It contains Vitamin D which is very important in metabolizing calcium
- It also contains Vitamins A and E which are important antioxidants
- It contains Vitamin K
