Our cows are happy and are therefore healthy and productive
We know that if we “cuddle” our cows and treat them right, they are grateful and give us high quality milk!
All of the farm members have a deep passion for their work; they are in fact breeders, farmers, entrepreneurs and workers all at the same time.
Our Parmigiano Reggiano has a unique taste and organoleptic qualities. It is made exclusively with the milk from our cows and for this reason we pay particular attention to their diet.
We feed our cows with fodder compounds made from hay, 50% of which has been directly grown on the farm, 25% that comes from the surrounding area, and the remaining 25% is sourced from companies outside the area. This allows us to obtain delicious milk that is skillfully transformed into great Parmigiano Reggiano by the expert hands of our dairyman.
Our area of origin, our land, our feed and our climate allow us to produce milk that will give rise to Parmigiano Reggiano P.D.O.; it is the strong link between the cheese and its area of production that makes it unique and inimitable.
All of the milk produced by the farm is used solely for the production of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and other dairy products such as butter and ricotta.
We milk our cows every day twice a day both in the morning and in the evening. According to Parmigiano Reggiano specifications, we have to collect our milk at each milking!
